WW2 US American Air Force Ground Personnel
The USAAF in WW2 wasn’t just the pilots and aircrews it also took a huge amount of ground personnel to keep the Fighters and bombers operational. This uniform we have here is typical of what you would see as standard wear on a base around the USAAF bases and airfields occupied by the US. It is pretty much your basic ww2 infantry uniform with the added insignia used by the USAAF.
