Vietnam War US Navy SEAL scout
The Vietnam war was really the beginning of the Navy SEALs. They were initially deployed in and around Da Nang, training the South Vietnamese in combat diving, demolitions, and guerrilla/anti-guerrilla tactics. Later into the SEALs found themselves positioned in the Rung Sat Special Zone where they were to disrupt the enemy supply and troop movements and in the Mekong Delta to fulfil riverine operations, fighting on the inland waterways. They had a very interesting look which moved away from military regulation and aimed to go for what clothing was practical for the job.
